The City of Chesapeake is seeking an experienced pro-active leader to serve as the Assistant Director of Information Technology. The Assistant Director will provide support in overseeing the operation of the City's information system. The Assistant Director is responsible for supervising staff; recommending goals and objectives; developing policies and procedures; assisting with planning information system infrastructure, architecture, and operating processes; managing system operations; evaluating system performance; assisting with negotiations for improved system capabilities; and coordinating or reporting on activities to senior management and elected or appointed officials.

I am writing to see if any of you know people who are on the job market who have expertise in the following areas:
We need 10 Mainframe Systems Operations Engineers who have experience with MVS or VTAM systems programming.
2 Mainframe Systems Programmers who have experience with MVS Systems Programming and IPL
10 Midrange Systems Operations Engineers with AS400 and Tandem experience.
And several Midrange Systems Admins with Unix backgrounds.
